On 26. And 27. August 2017, the 5th SM Offroad Round took place at the beautiful location at Obernau Switzerland. The weather was changing from slight rain to sunshine on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. It was therefore a strategic decision, what tires to be marked for the runs. At the end, the yellow mini pins proofed to be the right decision.
In the 2WD class, Nico Schmid managed to TQ and Florian Schmid reached the 3rd place.
In the 4WD class, Nico Schmid also managed to TQ by three TQ runs. Florian Schmid reached the 3rd place. With Michel Buschor (4), Philip Jeisy (5), Tobias Tönz (6), Remo Bulla (9) and Ossi Oswald (10) a total of 7 Xray XB4 reached the A-Main Final!
After the qualification round, Philip Jeisy reached the TQ in the monster class.
In the 2WD class, Nico managed to win by three TQ runs. Florian Schmid reached the third position (2,3,3).
In the 4WD Class Nico Schmid also managed to TQ by three TQ runs. Florian Schmid reached the third place (3,2,3). Philip Jeisy completed the finals on 4th position. Remo Bulla managed to complete the final runs on the 8th position, a good performance for his first year of driving. Michel Buschor (5), Tobias Tönz (6), and Ossi Oswald (10).
In the Monster class, Philip Jeisy completed another race on the top of the podium with 3 final wins.
